How to get to Boracay?
Boracay Island is located at the northern tip of Panay Island in the center of the Philippines.
Various ways lead to Boracay, the fastest one is by air from Manila or Cebu, another one is by sea from Manila to Caticlan or overland for the adventurous people from Cebu over Negros to Iloilo and Caticlan.
There are two Airports close to Boracay, Caticlan and Kalibo. You will always have to take a short Boat ride from Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay.
Caticlan Airport (MPH)
Caticlan Airport is the nearest Airport to Boracay Island. It's a 15min boat ride from Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay.
Kalibo Airport (KLO)
Kalibo to Caticlan Jetty port is a 1.5h ride. Larger baggage allowance than Caticlan, so less overweight payment.

To Boracay by Sea
There are several ferries from Manila to Boracay. One way takes approximately 12 hours. It is not that comfortable but cheap. One way will cost approximately PHP 900 to PHP 2500 depending on the class you take.
